Okay, a while back I got all new speakers kicker impulse
5x7's, then I needed an ampso I bought one (JVC- KSAX4500). So I took the amp to my local audio store to be installed. I was told $40 for the amp kit $20 for the Y connecters and $75 for installation. I thought $135 was pretty good. So I left it there and went to work. 4 hours later I got a call at work, it was the guys working on my car, they called to tell me that, they just found out that the car has a factory amp, and that it will cost another $50 plus labor to bypass it, told them to do it. Now after about an hour and a half I get another call, they've got it finished...... BUT it sounds like crap (thier exact words) I asked why it sounds so horrible they didnt know. So I left work and went down there. I listened to it and yeah it sure did sound like complete crap. They told me that if I can bring it in tomorrow they will work on it untill they have found they problem. The next day I took it back to the shop and left it there. I got a call about 2 hours later from the store, they said they found the problem and they've fixed it. When I got there I got in my car and they had installed the amp but now I had a brand new Pioneer Premier head unit, (I had the factory head unit when I dropped it off) Apparently they had ruined my head unit and the only way it would sound good was with this new head. The price of the HU $259, so as of right now to install the amp the price is at around $470 so I raised hell and told them that the factory HU worked fine before they touched it. So after a heated yelling match they knocked off all labor which somehow got up to $125, and gave me the HU for $50. And as I was paying for everything, he had the nerve to try and sell me a 12' kicker CompVR with a box. I will never go in that store again.
