My windows on my driver side has not went down for some time, so while it was at the shop for the half shaft I thought I will have my uncle look at it.

Turns out that almost all the wires in that door were fused together. HOW I HAVE NO IDEA YET! Then he said I friend the GEM also! This is going to be a very expensive week!

Gem- Guessing on price 200.00
Half shaft-200.00
Switches for drivers side door 50.00 X 2 a piece WHAT THE HELL IS FORD THINKING!
Re-wire door and whatever else is fried- WHO KNOWS
Labor- Who knows.

All of this equals BROKE AUSTIN! ;-(

I will update this with correct prices once i have them!

ummm I see you drive a 98 X wouldnt this stuff still be under the warrenty.

Nope I have 78,000 miles on here also I have done a little modification to the old girl . I have a hard time getting ford to look at my truck let alone warrantee anything.

umm i have yet to see the repaint bill! but more then likly not, as i still have to buy a 4x4 shift motor for 300.00. That puts this repair bill close to a grand! I will see what i can do, but i don't thing so.
