I searched this forum, Google searched, and did some reading. After all of this, it's unclear to me what the torque specs are for the following 2 parts. Can you tell me what the 2 torque specs are? Please advise. Many thanks.

Belt Idler Pulley - 6L2Z-6C348-A.
Belt Tensioner Assembly - 6L2Z-6B209-B.

Seriously gonna use a torque wrench on that?
Most mechanics just do these fasteners to “tight” or “just past snug” meaning you tighten with your hands using a 1/4” or 3/8” ratchet and then just give it a small
Amount past when it stops… that’s tight

My guess would be 25 fr lbs on the tensioner pulley bolt and 35 ft lbs on the tensioner to bracket bolts

To me there is no need for a torque wrench for simple bolts like this

Agreed. I use the German torque wrench for this job, Gudentite.

Nice and snug, throw some antiseize or blue loctite on if you’re one of those guys

@wollimann - Thank you. That's what I was looking for. Much appreciated.

30-40 foot pounds that will likely strip the threads. IMO

20 foot pounds just good
n tight

Well species 35 ft lbs for both of those bolts so I was close

40 ft lbs only strips bolts on chevys and jeeps lol
