what axle do i have?

I went to my local parts store to get new front axle seals, and was asked a question i didn't know how to answer. he asked what type of axle I have in the truck a dana splicer or a dana splicer 35. I have no clue... how can I find this out?

1) Find a new autoparts store, seriously. Stay away from the glitzy "auto parts supermarket" style stores. Most don't know their ass from their elbow.

2) You have a dana 35 front differential
