what backspacing and offset?

first off how do you figure out your backspacing and offset?

anyways my real question is what backspacing and offset do i need for 35s? right now i am running 31s with shackles and aal in the back and washers under the springs up front. hopefully tax return i would like to add a 3 inch body and a 4 inch suspension to my already 2 inch lift. i would like for the tires to stick out from under the fender a little with out causing to much rubbing if possible. i was givin a ultra wheel type 5051 and on tire rack a 15x8 the offset is -19mm and the backspacing is 3.66 inches will that wheel get me what i want or do i need something else?

has anyone ran the nitto mud grappler 33 13.50? i ask because im wondering how muchlift ill need to run a inch wider tire with out rubbing to bad on the inside of the tire

its not the inside that tears a tire up.its the corner of the fender near the door and the inside fender/firewall.also the more you space them out the worse they rub in problem areas.also all these threads could be in one thread as all the treads are asking the same questions and having to do with the same thing
