What can i use to clean the TB?

Never mind, i figured out the answer to my problem!!

Well i guess i should leave my orginal message up so others may benifet as well. What else could i use other then tb cleaner because i have some other chemicals laying around that might work. I use to work at fleet farm in the automotive department and oddly enough they had everything else except throttle body cleaner. I guess i should be able to pick up some tb cleaner though at my local autozone or car quest.

give it about 2 days and 25 people will tell you to seafoam it...

i did some more research and it seemed like carb cleaner was a commen answer too.

You could always try Throttle Body cleaner.

carb cleaner works wonders. You can use that stuff to clean just about anything, but it works well on the TB and intake because it just vaporizes..

Instead of liquid Seafoam use DeepCreep (aerosol form SeaFoam) and a non-linting cloth.
