what could be the problem?

i took off my shift motor cause it was locked up, and i tried to turn it manually and the front tires never pull. could it be hubs? there is no noise comin from them.

Yes, it could be the hubs. When you get into the 4H detent, does the front driveshaft lock in? In 2H, can you rotate the driveshaft freely without the hubs locking?
