Will the need for new shocks make the truck handle any differently or make any strange noises while turning? My truck has this strange rubbing noise when ever I drive. At first it was slightly loud. I could hear with the windows down. The other day I sprayed the brakes down really well with water, to make sure there wasn't any rocks stuck. The noise went away. However, today I heard it but only when I drove near something. I was hearing the echo off the surrounding objects. I did a new brake job about 100 miles back and when I went for my inspection this week, they said I needed new shocks. I know poor shocks will cause bouncing but what about these other symptoms? I know other people (including myself) thought it could be the CV joint but the noise, at times, has faded.
