There are many songs that are LOUD in my explorer. Here are some:
Outkast: Old and New CD
Ki-Lo-Ali: Exteame Loudness
Big Pun: New and Old CD
Fat Joe: Don Cartagena CD (spelling?)
Then there are bass CD's although i dont like those cause there are no definate lyrics. So try the Big Pun CD's and the Fat Joe, im sure youll like them. E-mail me with what you got, and how you like it, cause im intrested too. I run these on 2 10's that will knock as hard as 15's.

If you want to "fine tune" your system, then you could get some cd's that are made to test out systems. The cd's will help you get your bass and highs sounding good. Another that will help you get your system's imaging. Another that will let you figure out if your speakers are set in a good position. And another that helps you figure out how to set your amplifier. Crutchfield has them, here's a link---> http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-5B0mxJvMjWV/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=2&g=871&I=503CD101&o=M&a=0
The music I listen to and sounds the best is any of the Cash Money Records CD's, DMX, Jay-Z and the Flipmode Squad(Busta Rhymes). These CD's really slam when you crank up the volume and cruise down the road. Props the the guys down at ALARMS PLUS for doing a bang up job on the installation on my system.

I mostly listen to Metallica, Megadeath and other rock / metal. All have some good bass and double bass drum stuff. I do enjoy all kinds of music though. Other bass stuff,,, both LL Cool J and Will Smith are good.
I frequently use...
These are the actual cd titles, not songs
Eminem:The Slim Shady LP
Kid Rockevil Without A cause
The Batman Forever Sountrack (tee hee)
NOW 1,2,& 3
Dr.Dre:Chronic 2001
Jay-Z
If anybody has the Batman sountrack use "The Ridler" By Method Man, it got my mirrors vibrating. Or on NOW, TRY #5, it is awesome at first. Well, these are just a few
I listen to some heavy music from glam rock-new wave-house-jungle-alt-punk-speedmetal-heavy-death in my car. I always like to get hyped up or reminise(spelling???)... but then again...I have stock systems.
I listen to everything from Enya to Sir Mix A Lot. However, hard rock permeates through speakers most often. Metallica and Van Halen are the two most common. As far as boom is concerned, Korn hits, and hits HARD! I often use any of their CD's to test a car stereo's ability and to show my own!
I'm a rap kinda guy myself the following songs pound hard:
Dr. Dre & Snoop - Ain't nuthin but a g thang
Eazy E - real muthaf***in g's
Bone Thugs N Harmony - Crossroads
Frost - Que man otra lleno mas
some cds to get:
Twista - Adrenaline Rush
Do or Die - Po Pimpin
Death Rows Greatest Hits
Gang Related -soundtrack
any 2pac cds
if you want some trippy hippy music that gets you calm as hell check out this guy Ravi Shankar, you might have to look around for some of his stuff.
if your cruisin or something with a girl keep good oldies on hand to guarantee a kissy smoochie poo, stuff like Angel Baby, I'm your puppet, Rockin Robin, also anything that will make her laugh =)
country(alan jackson, blackhawk, brooks & dunn, johnny rebel) rock (ac/dc, van halen, sammy hagar) Metal(slayer, deicide, cannibal corpse, obituary) all sound good on my stock system....especially flyin through a mud bog.
i have stock speakers...but the 6x8's do have good factory bass...
korn-dead bodies everywhere has some good bass
METALLICA-doesnt matter which song, it's all good
drama-most of their songs have serious bass, esp. "left right left" and "it's drastic"
Anything from Kid Rock will shake the hell out of you but he doesn't use the best recording equitment so it sounds like there is a little distorsion but if you listen to it on any stereo you can hear it (just so don't go crazy) One of the songs from Kid Rock that will give you some bass is "Only God Knows Why" if your stereo is very good It will shake the hell out of you. If you can try to listen to it on a pair of 15"'s with around 500+ real watts.
I like the older rock myself,
even though I can listen to many diff. types of music,
exept rap and disco.Pink Floyd, springsteen,Yes,Bob marley,
and yet I can also listen to something mellow like Yanni.for me it depends on how I'm feeling,on a long drive.
