What do you spend more money on?

My girl was nagging me the other day that I blow all my money on my X. I was just wondering if anyone else goes through this. Its deffinately true for me. Within the past week I have spent over $700 on my truck.

well see it all depends on if you have a signficant other or not. when i was married i got to get some cool stuff now and then , but now that i have kicked her worthless ass on, i get all kinds of stuff for mine, and am in the process of getting tramp from FMExplorer, so you have to look at it as single or not single before you can fairly answer that one.

Whats nice for me is my fiancee kinda understands where im coming from. We have a son on the way and she was like I don't want you to give up what you like doing. She also has some nice rims, a nice system, a CAI and some other goodies done to her car. She just doesn't understand why I needed to add a tv and x-box in my truck

I dump a ton into this truck. I am far from done. My wife hates that I spend so much on it. She just doesn't understand. I recently had a birthday and received some change from my family. She told everyone to write in the cards. "Don't spend this on car parts". Just take a guess where I spent all those clams??? You got it, headers and a new gauge. I should have bought some socks though because I don't think I have a pair without holes.

Ya, lately I've been spending alot of money on my X. And the funny thing is, is that I meet alot of potential girlfriends on the job, but I don't pursue any of them 'cause I know what will happen. All my money will be spent on her and not the things that I'm planning on getting for my X. The important stuff, like a s/c, cam, and various other mods. After I get those things then I'll think about getting a gf.

I don't understand it either....


I spend my money on many things and if I have some left over, I might spend it on the X. Most of the mods I have or have had have been a dissapointment so I stopped getting them.

all i ever hear is "you need to start saving for a ring!" yeah, an o-ring. screw that, my ex doesn talk back and performs how i need it to every time, unlike the girlfriend. i did figurre out though that whenever i buy something, i tell her i got an amazing deal on it or that i did a favor for someone. and as long as i take er out twice a week its tolerable.

other, wife-daughter, bills, etc. I've put about $1k into her in the past month, but I've had her about 3 yrs. and this is my first time putting serious money into her. After having owned 30 cars, you realize that it's just that... a car. I wouldn't trade one hug from my daughter for all my cars back. At the same time I love wheeling the X, just gotta set your priorities.

lets see, no wife, no kids, no house (hey, i'm only 19!) like i said before, i do spend some on my girlfriend and i should probably start paying off student loans but i figure i will be paying them off while still having to take out more money so i'll just wait till i am out...besides, the government is paying my intrest for now and i should enjoy being young and relatively free of those"other" responsibilities. most of my friends have kids so they cant spend a dime, heck, one has a sweet stealth r/t twinturbo 5-speed and its sitting parked because he doesnt have the money to fix it...he is driving his parents dynasty that he wrecked a few years ago but it still runs.
