what fluids to change

i was sitting in a mud puddle for over 2 hours, super stuck. the rear bumper was just touching the water, and the front bumper was out a bit. the muk water was up to the running boards. what should i be concerned about? change the front and rear differential fluid, as well as the t-case fluid. am i forgetting anything? you think the bearing will go bad?? thanks in advance everyone.

Are any of your breather tubes extended?

If not, consider changing the tranny fluid, t-case fluid, and both axle fluids.

Yes, It will be a pain, and take a few hours, but you just can't chance it.

i've heard about these breather tubes, but don't know exactly what they are. can you enlighten me? also anybody know of any good stuff to seal the differentials up with (that caulk stuff you put around it after you take the cover off) thanks. oh, and as far as i know, my breather tubes are "stock" height.

Ok question 1:

They're easy to spot.
They're metal tubes that come out near the top of the tranny, front axle, and rear axle. They allow the components to "breathe" when temperature changes (such as running through cold water).

Question 2:

Any old RTV sealant will work on the rear diff. Doesn't have to be the high temp stuff. Not sure on the tranny though. In order to change the fluid on the front you will require a vacuum pump to get the fluid out(unless you like removing cv joints).

thanks for the info. i was looking at the front axle and saying to myself how the heck can i take it apart without screwing with the cv joints. guess there isn't a good way. thanks for the info. maybe i'll take a look at those breather tubes during easter vacation

draining the fluid out of the front diff isnt THAT bad i just changed mine and it wasnt to bad to do but I think the seal on my front axle are leaking =\
