What FPR (fuel pressure regulator) can be used on stock fuel rails on a 1998 Explorer 5.0? I am upgrading the fuel pump and injectors to match the rest of my setup with heads, cam, intake, etc.

Thanks,
Scott

I'd go for an adjustable regulator.

its intank. you have a returnless style fuel system

The returnless didn't start until '99 with the 4.6 liter motor. What adjustable regulator can I use? One from a 94-95 5.0 liter Mustang?

Still looking for what adjustable FPR is required for a 98 5.0. 94-95 Mustang 5.0?

In 1999, there was no 4.6 motor.

As far as I know, you'd have to convert to return fuel system to get an aftermarket FPR.

If it's returnless, I don't believe there is any way to mess with fuel pressure, the PCM controls the fuel pump output.

Are you guys sure that this is returnless? I see what looks like an FPR on the rails and there are two lines running to and from the rails, similar to what is on my 93 5.0 Mustang.

1998/1999 is kind of the split for returnless, but if you have 2 lines, it is not returnless. You should be able to find a regulator through a performance shop, or Ford Motorsport.
