What gear ratio should I go with

I have a 91 eddie bauer with 3.55 gears in it now and I also have a axle from a 93 xl with 3.73 gears in it. Wich axle would be better since I am running 33" thornbirds and a 4" lift and 2" body lift.

I dont even think you will notice the difference between those two axels.Is your ex 4x4?If so you have to change front and back.Grab a 4.10 then you will notice the difference

You need 4.10 or 4.56.

absolutely do not change from 3:55 to 3:373's waste of time. i run 3:73 and highways up a grade it sucks. if i ever change them im going 4:56.

go with 4.1 or 4.56s

but with 33s, 4.56s are probably going to be the better choice....... then if you ever go to 35s, you wont need to change them again
