I need to get new ignition wires and just out of curiousity was wanting to know what some of you guys use and why? I had Motorcraft wires/plugs in my vehicle for about 6 months and come to find out my wire that goes to my #3 cylinder is bad. I'm thinking about trying something else. I also have MSD coil packs but I don't think that could have cause my wire to go bad. I'm looking at the Taylor ThunderVolt 8.2 Wires, Taylor Spiro-Pro Wires (I think the only difference between the 2 is the ThunderVolt is an 8.2mm wire and the Spiro-Pro are 8mm), Ford Racing Wires, or Magnecor. What are your experiences with these if any?

The Accel, and Jacobs wires are good. Motorcraft is OEM. Accel wires are thicker, but Jacobs wires have lower resistance. Accel has custom sets as well as sets which let you crimp your own lengths.

Any experience with the other brands I listed?

Ive been running the Jacobs wires for 3 years now, they still look and work like new :)

I have Taylor wires & auto light platinum plugs
