The right of my headlight knob and dimmer switch there is a button with a P on it, when i press it then "OFF" is illuminated. Can anyone tell me what the hell this switch is on my 2005 Ford Explorer?

Disables the backup sensors. You push it if you're pulling a trailer, or have a bike rack on, etc... Stops it from constantly beeping while backing up.
