What it this piece i have boxed in? The lower part of it on my driver side broke from the a-arm

It looks like yours is an aftermarket link. The originals were actually made from plastic and the bushings were black, not red like yours.

Yes, those look like the originals, IIRC there was a TSB because they corrode and break. Mine were still ok, but I replaced them with a set from Napa because I had a clunking up in the front. (it turned out they were still ok).
