Purge valve for the EVAP system?

drdoom, if you say so! :) I broke off the lower tab while installing my struts yesterday and was wondering if it might cause me a problem. I was able to put the upper mounting bolt back in and tighten it all down but that lower mount snapped.

If it's secure you are probably OK, if there's a system breach it will set a trouble code. Best wishes.

I know it's too little too late, but I was able to just release a catch and slide it up... No need to unbolt it.

I, too, recently changed my struts...

I thought I had enough room to get the extension down behind that but apparently I didn't! I bolted it back up tight and will just see if it throws an error code. Part is only about $50 if it needs replaced.

Thanks guys!
