I have two pics to show what I'm asking and where it is. but the posting rules won't let me post pics. so ill try to describe. driver side cargo area. little opening with a cover, about a square foot. a round mechanical thing in it. what is it? im trying to locate the stock amp. is this it?

Looks like a blower motor. Do yo have rear A/C? If so I imagine thats the blower motor for it.

thank you for posting the pic for me. yes i have rear a/c. thank you for clearing that up. so not the stock amp then. crap.

it's not. the stock radio is gone. this is a different topic than the original thread. i have a whine in my speakers, no system, so no rca's. i have read somewhere that the stock amp is going out. so im trying to find it.

Heater and or a/c for the rear just look at the hose on the top. The stock amp would be in the dash. If you have one I did my system and I didn't have a stock amp of any sort

The stock amp(s) are in the radio head and if you have the sub woofer, its attached to that. The stock Sub is on the passenger side in the cargo area.
