While changing spark plugs today i noticed something that is broken under the hood. It has a sensor going to it and is on the driver side. What is it and does it matter that it has a chunk missing out of it?

That's the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid. It controls the opening and closing of the EGR valve using engine vacuum. I don't think the fact that the top is broken will affect it but it may be a good idea to tape it up to keep debris out.

I know this is an old post but I don't agree. The EGR Vacuum Regulator is located just below and to the driver side of EGR. It's pretty close to the firewall. Anyone know what's in the picture? I was wondering this myself.

CRAZYSTANG........ bought you're old trailer!

Not to sound too creepy or anything (this was the only forum with a 2010 date you had posted to), but I bought your old 1976 Frolic from the couple you sold it to! I stumbled across an old forum thread where you posted pictures. To be honest, I'm having a hard time finding a lot of information out about it, and was wondering if you could give me some insight into a few things I've found while poking around.

FYI, it's a great trailer, and in amazing condition! I plan on doing mostly some cosmetic work this weekend, so I can pull the "funk" out of the 70's (which clearly died up in there)!

Any help would be appreciated. Here's my email address if you wouldn't mind conversing: mrorang3@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance,

-Brian
