What just melted into my EGR line? I posted a link to an IMGUR gallery so you can see what the two lines are. I'm sure I'm going to need to replace the EGR line as well as whatever it is that melted in. Wonder how much of a pain in the ass this is going to be smdh.

Wow I feel dumb, turns out they are supposed to be like that lol. Just seemed odd as I had a lot of smoke coming off of the EGR line, maybe just something burning off idk. Thanks anyway guys

You shouldn't have smoke coming off. That would indicate an exhaust leak.

But a leak there should/could turn on the CEL I believe.

That looks like the DPFE lines, metal there and leading to the DPFE sensor.

Thanks for the info, I realized it was smoke coming from an exhaust leak near the left side cat and most likely some PB blaster getting smoked off from where I had accidentally gotten some near the EGR line.

It's actually lines coming off of the EGR line that go to the EGR sensor, they are supposed to look like that, I just never remember it looking like that and seeing the smoke made me jump to some bad conclusions haha. Thanks tho
