What model have 28 splines spindle

Which model have 28 splines spindle

Hello!

I have spare 28 splines auto locking hubs and assembly for my X. Unfortunately, I have 27 splines on my spindles and not 28.

Can someone tellme what year and models have 28 splines?

I don't remember the spline count of hubs off the top of my head but all explorer's have the same amount of splines on the front axleshafts. if it's the wrong spline count it's probably for a different vehicle.

maybe thoses locka are for a ranger

Could be they are for a Ranger with a front Dana 28. Only Rangers with a 4.0 have the Dana 35 that ALL Explorers have. (well, up thru 1994.)
