What radios will work with what year?

I tried to search this, but coming up short. I have a 1996 Eddie Bauer X with no subwoofer in the back with a AM/FM Cass. I would like to have AM/FM/Cass/CD but I am hearing I can't do that, can anybody help me out here? thanks

Go buy an aftermarket head unit. Don't waste your money on ford stereo crap. You will be much happier for less $$$.
