What sensor is this? Mines leaking coolant where it goes into the block on the driver side. I’m not sure what it is so not sure how to look it up. I was curious if the sensor comes with a new tube that goes into the block. I also am thinking about just putting jb weld high temp exoxy around where it’s leaking as I feel like there’s a chance it will snap off removing it and be a absolute nightmare.

It’s a 1995 Ford Explorer 4.0 ohv.

Thanks for any help.

That's an oil pressure sensor switch

Thank you for the reply. You’d think there’d be oil instead of coolant coming out it where it threads in. Might have a bigger problem then I think.

I have the Same problem, but it stop. I was thinking that the coolant was coming from someplace else.

It appears the coolant is coming from above the sensor shown, then running down it, hence all the rust.

^^^ Agree. I do not believe coolant could leak from the oil pressure sensor. Look up higher.

Good luck.

Oil sensor that thing is tapered if you try to tighten it will crack the engine block!
Yes I learned the hard way many many years ago

Leak is coming from higher up like the head gasket lower intake timing cover or waterpump
