what should be lit up?

on my dash and steering wheel. the left side of the steering wheel for the on/off cruise control buttons is out. what about the 4x4 button on the bezel, should that be lit? what about the cigarette lighter? any lights behind that? rear defrost, fog button? when i push these botton the indicator light comes on, but there is no illmination behind the symbol of these buttons. thanks.

HVAC knobs
Headlight switch
Cruise controls on both sides of the wheel

thanks Hart. stupid Q, what are the HVAC knobs? also, i recently replaced the headlight switch, the lights work, but they stay on all the time, not just when you turn the light switch on. is it supposed to be on all the time? thanks man.

HVAC knobs are the 3 knobs that control the heat and AC. The headlight switch light stays on all the time so that you can find the headlight switch when it's dark. Perhaps that's why it burns out so fast.
