Just crawled under my truck and noticed the transfer case breather has fallen off. Anyone know what size tubing I need so I don't have to get under there with a tape measure?

For future reference, both the t-case and 8.8 are 5/16" ID tubing. You will need 17 feet on a two door to extend the t-case and 8.8 seperatly to here (I did it with 16 but the 8.8 breather is not as long as I'd like):

Also, the stock 8.8 breather is not even 2' long, around 1' 10.5"

Ok maybe I am really new at setting up my 4x4.

So the T-case and the tranny and both front and rear have this breather right. And they all need to be above the waterline otherwise you get water in your oil?

Is the best place to run it to in the engine compartment for all of them or is the tranny and t-case the only ones you really need to worry about?

Thanks for helping out a semi newb.

Both the tranny and transfer case vents end on the back of the trans, on my 99. You could terminate them at any high point. Try to terminate them pointed down also. Good luck,
