Just curious as to what the biggest tire is that I can fit on my 92 Explorer with a 6" Suspension lift? I really want 35's but if I can't fit those I might just have to get a 2" body lift as well to fit them do you think?

No offense, but do you know how to use the search feature? You've started like 4-5 new threads asking questions that are answered much quicker using the search. If you do some trimming and/or get lucky. I'd personally do the minimal trimming and run 35s, if that's what you want, but remember that it's a Dana 35 TTB and they are known for problems with larger than 33" tires.

Ahhh I did not know that... This is my first Explorer so it's all new to me. Sorry next time I will try to search harder. I just saw someone with a 6" lift and 35's on their 92 Explorer and it seemed to fit fine so I just wanted to make sure what size tire I should get. I've just been reading about numerous ways to lift these Explorers and with so many options I am not really sure if there is a right way or a wrong way... Ive heard of using the torsion bars to lift it, warrior shakles, suspension lifts, body lifts, using F-150 leaf springs and so on, and so on... Either way I think I will start with the 6" suspension lift.

you dont have torsion bars

Lol, good lord now I feel dumb! I thought I did... My bad!

91-94 ford explroers had a TTB twin traction beam suspension for a 4x4

95+ had torsion bars

Ohhhh ok now that makes a little more sense :) Learn something new everyday!

BTW atleast people on this forum aren't crazy like on some of the other forums. I know alot of people get mad when they see people posting alot of the same topics without searching but good lord I would shutter the thought of being a newbie on some of those other forums... People just flip out on you like crazy!

we already told you to search and not to start asking 10 different threads on the same thing... if you decide not to, thats between you and the moderators

Trust me, if there was a way to delete this post I would :)

you cant delete it, but you can edit anything you want, By the way i live in Oregon also,

Later
