I broke the one side before I realized there was one more teeny weird little bolt when I was removing my front spindle to do the ball joints. What socket fits that little 12 point bolt that holds the cast iron thing around the ABS sensor? It is a 93 4wd Explorer.:hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

I had the same problem. It is a 6mm 12 point, but you will need either an extended socket or I believe it is a 1/4" drive with a regular depth socket. I had a 1/2" 6mm socket that didn't work because there is not enough clearance where the bolt is located.
If you do break the 12 point bolt, the only place you will able to get one is a junkyard (Ford doesn't sell the part unless they have one laying around that they will give you)or improvise a regular metric bolt and cut a groove in it to get a flat head screwdriver on it.

Thanks!

I did the flat slot trick in the longer metric bolt to replace the one I messed up.

Now to find a 12point 6mm socket. Everything I have in the really small stuff is 6 point. That will be changing though.
