What states have inspections?

be careful. i think all vehicles have to be smogged at least every 4 years to even get them registered. unless it is older than a 1974

Rhode Island. Finally changed over to emissions testing after years of passing the law then changing thier minds. So now we have a safety and emissions test every two years. I find it hard to believe some states have no inspections. There must be some real sh#*boxes crusin' in those states.

but I just have to tell ya...I'm sorry I'm just about as far from a "dude" as you can get but yeah I'm hoping they would at least make it a bit cheaper .... I just feel sorry for all the inspection stations that bought the $25,000 machines to do the emissions testing .... now they are stuck with em...

The great Northeast ...Philly...back when the Northeast was great that is... and Filthydelphia wasn't so Filthy... it's sad that I don't feel safe enough to go visit the old neighborhood....sometimes it's a crappy feeling...

Utah requires a safety inspection, for some counties, an emissions test as well. Cost is around $30.
