What SUV would you have if you didn't have an explorer?

Land Rover D90 with the diesel. Or the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the V8 with the base model 4x4 system. Or maybe an F-250.

Hmm, as far as small-ish SUV's go I'd look at the S-10 Blazer or the Jeep Cherokee. Bigger, the 96-00 Tahoes or the old 70's and '80s Dodge RamChargers with a 440, the old K-5 Blazers, and the early Broncos. Or the Land Rover Discovery or Defender. and maybe a Toyota Land Cruiser.

Or go crazy and convert my FWD '86 Poncho 6000 to AWD (factory option in 88-91)

My friend is a tank commander.

He says that sometimes they take the speed governor off their M1s, and hen they can cruise at 70 mph. Man 40 tons at 70 mph. Talk about kinetic energy...

Of course, they're not supposed to do that. They prefer that they keep it under 40. At higher speeds, it's easier to throw a track.

ML55's the fastest production SUV.

Nope, Escalade is more powerful but slower.

ML55 0-60 mph 6.7 sec 1/4 mile 15.1 sec.

Escalade 6.0 0-60 mph in 7.8 sec 1/4-mile in 15.6 sec.

I just saw two new trucks to die for.


The first was the Dodge Ram SRT-10. Take a regular Dodge Ram, put 20" wheels on it, dress up the interior, and add a few go fast bit on the out side. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, then stuf in a Dodge Viper 8.0L V10 under the hood! Bad-a$$. Coming in 2003.

Second was the prototype Ford F-350 Tonka Edition. Imagine your favorite Tonka truck from when you were a kid. Now imagine it grew up into a Big, yellow, Ford dually. There you go, every boys dream. Coming... maybe.

I would set it up like my Explorer. Of course I would add Lift, SuperCharger, 35" Thornbirds on Hellcats, Winch, ect.... I'm drooling just thinking of the possibilities..
