It does have a low and high range right? does it use a lever or push buttons?

In addition does anyone know what the low range ratio is 2.5 to 1 etc.

also does anyone know what it is Borg warner etc.

I am seriously considering droping a whole explorer 5.0 driveline in my jeep cherokee, I allready have the 8.8 in there why not finish it up :)

If you know anyone has done this swap let me know, particularily if they kept the crank triggered ignition and multi coil pack setup. If anyone has upgraded to the 5.0 in a explorer would probably have good info also.

oh yeah the front out put of the t-case, it is on the drivers side right?

the 5.0 explorers were either 2WD or AWD. no real 4X4.
the V-6 explorers had 4 hi and 4 lo. some have the pushbutton 4X4 other had the manual T-case.
