What the H3LL is this?

At least I'm not the only one thinking it has a more useful marine application.
 






ALL of them are originally designed as bilge fume blowers. Their purpose is to evacuate the hull of a boat from any gas vapors before starting.

Here is a typical one (and one that looks EXACTLY like many you see on ebay:

I got two of them on my little bowrider. Maybe I should find a way to interlock them into the engine intake. Take that 140hp up to 200 easily!!!
 






But don't forget, the air filter is sold seperately. But with the cost only being $24.99 you could certainly buy a couple of cone K&N's for your boat.
