when i replace stuff i like to get the best part avalible but the most expensive is not always better so im asking here :D expecting atleast one responce before 7 pm today so i can go buy it ;)

I think you will be fine with any of the 190-195 F t stats. Stay away from anything cooler.

I just changed mine and i went to the dealer. Why i went to the dealer becasue i saw the prices on line and compared them and for a few dollars i said what the hell let me go direct to the dealer. I also had to include the shipping charges and you know what it wasnt that much of a difference like i said a few bucks. Plus i had to change it soon i had no heat. total was 24 dollars which inlcuded the gasket. Now i got heat.:D

im not 100% sure why not on a explorer still learning the truck but from my experience i have noticed that if you go to cold or to hot it will not run that well and might even throw out some codes. Lets see what others have to say.
