What tire rotation pattern do you use ?

It doesn't really matter.

The point is to get each tire to see each corner of the vehicle and how it loads (and wears) the tire. How ever you decide to do that is up to you.
 






Front to back only myself and all my friends from the shops do not think changing a tires rotation is a good idea, we have all agreed that they take a set like when you roll up a hose or power cord the same way over and over and we feel when you go from side to side it causes vibration, again just the opinion of the group im with
 






Just front to back for me as well, putting the spare on the front and rotating one of the rears to the spare, alternating sides for the spare.

Years ago, when radials first started hitting the road, it was suicide to swap sides when rotating. The steel belts would "set" when first installed (after a few miles), then if you changed direction, the belts would shift and become loose inside the tread, rubbing on each other like a grinder. Eventually, the tire would fail, normally at highway speeds. Always spectacular.

Today, its not a concern.
 






I rotate the spare in as well. It kinda depends on how each tire is wearing on how I rotate them.

I use A if doing a 4 tire rotation. However I rotate the spare in on mine with a 5tire rotation like this:

I get mine rotated every 6k or so at Walmart where I purchased them. You can tell them how you want them. But, they usually don't ask. I asked the guy doing it and he said they just do them all front to back (same side). Most likely so they don't screw up someones tires if they happen to have "directional" tires. But, there is always an arrow on those though. Who knows. Mine all wear evenly. I just leave the spare as its older. When I got new tires. I put the "best" older one on the rim for the spare.
