BFG ATs if you drive on the street mostly. I love mine, they wear like iron, are quiet, and will still give you ample traction off-road.

Get a set of Pro-Comp Mud Terrains or All Terrains. Look at BenS rig. His is a daily driver and hardly shows any wear on his tires.

If you are going to spend most of your time on the road see if you can get a set of Michelin LTX's. The P rates tires have a good amount of sidewall flex while the LT don't. My 255's have 90k on them and they are still in good shape. They do well in all conditions except goopy mud and they handle like a dream on pavement

thats ok... most daily drivers spend most of the time on road as they are daily driven. don't let that stop u from getting an aggressive tire. u can get mud terrains with good mileage. i'm quite partial to bfg mt's but i wouldn't want to drive them on ice. take care of them keep them rotated and balanced... u should be able to easily get 40,000mi out of them. if not more. wouldn't even think a mud terrain could last that long. but its possible. ask jefe on here he put many many miles on his bfg's when he had them. and if i remember correctly it was WAY over 40,000mi and on top of that they are a great offroad tire. anyways i'm not trying to sell u on bfg mt's i'm just saying u can get good mileage out of a mud terrain and still spend alot of time onroad. i had some bad experiences with all terrains offroad. bfg's to be exact. swore to never buy another all terrain again. and i still get good mileage on my tires.
