what to buy?

Ok, I want to lower my 93 XLT 4x4 and have heard all about the "not more than two inch on a 4x4" rule (even though I dont understand why yet) and I want to buy these... Dead Link Removed for the rear and probably the i beams for the front..... Dead Link Removed they both say that they lower 3" and i wanted to know if this setup would still be allright. thanks.

I-beams and drop leaf springs would be good. You might be pushing it with 3 inches lower on a 4x4, but you might be OK. Apparently, what happens is some of the joints get binded up if you go too low.

setup will not work there is no ieam on the 4x4 u have to convert to 2 wd i wanna do the same so i am going to 4x4 get pics if u do lower
