Well, my explorer's looking good and running good. Got the gears, lockers and suspension lift in. Borla Exhaust and a KKM. 33X12.5 Xterrains and a Jet chip also.

NOW WHAT?

I need some idea's...I want it to really perform off road, and I'd be willing to give up on-road capabilities seeing it get's trailered to most rally's I go to.

Any idea's/Suggestions? :)

What about a snorkel/extended breather tubes and stuff?

Well you don't really need more power unless you want it.

I do think you made a bad choice going with the JET chip and not Superchip, Hypertech, or Diablo (Apten). JET chips are known for causing problems and actually decreasing power. If you do want more power though, go with a better chip, MAS, and TB.

For offroad: better shocks, winch, more tools and spare parts, switch to coilovers in front. Dunno, just some ideas. One of the best things to do would to have 2" recievers front and rear with a connectable winch cradle and winch.

OPPS!!!

Sorry, I forgot. Got a winch and 2" reciever tubes on both custom front and rear bumpers. I also did the Breather Tube mod last year. Separate filters, one for the diff's, and one for the tranny and Xfer case.

Snorkel, eh? hmmm...Interesting!!!!

I took the X out last weekend and it performed really good. Made it up icy hills that J**P's had to get winched up. I guess I expected more out of the new gears and lockers. Maybe I wouldn't have made it up those hills without them....I thought my 4-Lo would be lower than it turned out to be...
