Ok, since it's hard to set a fixed (for the most part) $$ amount, and figure what to put this toward on your (my) truck.... I figured I would ask; what would you do with $1400, (or close to it) to add to your truck WHEN IT was STOCK? This is what I have, as ideas for what I should put it towards.... (and I already have done the Warrior's and the Torsion twist in the front)

1. tires; 32's $700 (Pro-Comp AT's as example)
2. Shocks; Bilstein front, Rancho 9000's rear; $280 total
3. Class 3 hitch; $110
4. Skid plates; $150 (Sport Tracs got hosed, we don't get them standard with 4x4)
5. Fabricated Tortion bar/steering skid-plate; $100

Other immediate additions; Grill-guard; $375-$450, Rock Sliders; $300 ?

So what are some things that I ignored as semi-necessary (off-road) stocker needed items? Thanks for any responses. Becker69

gonna have to lift to fit 32's

I say.

2" body lift - $100 if do self
2" spring / shackle lift - $200 or so parts $? install/align.
32" BFG At's - $600
15x8 inch Mickey THompson Classic II - $400

and this is if you have good enough gears for 32's

well I just saw what truck you had and I have no idea how those ae to be lifted ?

No actually you probably won't need to lift at all. Just put them under there and if they rub crank your t-bars and get a 50 dollar pair of shackles.

Great ideas you have though. I would recommend a rear locker or atleast aftermarket l/s also. Where do you plan on getting the t-bar skid plate made?

Jason_25, I will probably just check the local shops, and maybe the local mom/pop 4x shop. After seeing Ray Lobato's pictures of his (from a thread I asked about last month) I was going to see about one like his... maybe in aluminum(?) Steel makes more sense... but I'll see. The 32's will fit, but I haven't met anyone that has a Sport trac with them (set up like mine; warriors and TT already done but no Body lift) that actually goes off-roading. They will only gain me about 3/4" of clearance over what I have now... but I need to lose my Wrangler RT/S' as soon as I have the $$. These tires are beyond poor!

Well if you find someone who can make you one. Let me know. I would be interested. Even if I would have to mod it a little bit to make it fit mine.
