So, I took my 02 Sport on its second off road adventure this past weekend, and since on the first trip I snapped a front sway bar endlink I figured it was best just to remove them to avoid breaking them again and to get a little better articulation. My only concern was that it looked like with the FSB disconnected it could swing and damaged the boot on the steering arm, or possible with enough flexing move somewhere that would require some work to get it back into its normal position. For this trip I just used a couple of heavy zip ties around the upper control arm to hold the FSB loosely up to about the normal position. While it never caused any problems the zip ties did break twice while on the trail.

I tested driving around on the street with the FSB disconnected, and that is just not for me. So, removing the entire bar is not an option, and since it takes less then 5 minutes to remove the endlinks I'll just remove them before hitting the trail.

What does everyone else do with the FSB when they disconnect the endlinks.

Thanks, I don't know why I didn't think of bungee cords. Those should do the trick.
