what to do with spare tire after BL?

I am seriously considering doing a 2 or 3in BL, and have some reservations. I'd like to keep my spare, but how do I deal with the crank being offset due to the new body height? Is this even possible?

I installed a 3in BL and had no problems with any of that, but i do have a 1992 so it might be different.

Ditch it. Most likely you're gonna go up in tire size so you'll want a bigger spare that wont fit there anyhow.

The biggest tire you will fit is a 32" in the spare tire spot. Any bigger and your out of luck. I have managed a solution to the problem you are pre-empting. Check out this link in the useful thread section. You will find a picture of the winch about 3/4 of the way down. I wouldn't say it's the ideal solution, but it is holding up.
