Is there any thing a guy should look for when buyin a used explorer, good or bad? thanx

Check if it has been in a wreck. Look for offroading damage/abuse. Check for leaks, compression and trans operation.

its best to buy it from a large dealership. From my experience, smaller dealers get the crappiest, banged up cars. If you could find and buy it from a private owner, that would be the best way to go. They tend to be more honest than a salesperson.
