What tranny do I have???

I just bought a 98 EB Explorer 5.0 awd and I was wondering what tranny came in it and are they prone to the same problems as the one I had in my 93 xlt 4.0 auto? I wanted to buy a sport with a 5 speed because of all the tranny problems I had with my 93 but i got such a great deal on this 98 EB that I couldnt pass it up but I was a little sceptical because of the auto tranny. Also how good is the AWD system as far as offroad driving and are there any common problems with it? Thanks in advance for any info.

4R70W comes with all 5.0 Explorers. Its a much better tranny then the A4LD in your 93. The AWD system will handle light off roading fine and is better for snowy/rainy on-road conditions, no major problems common. You've got one of the most reliable, best built Explorers of all.
