Hey just to let you know, if you have a 92 Explorer and the a/c system is still in fairly good condition, just have repair the leak and recover system and recharge with one of the r-12 knock off refrigerants. I used Freeze Twelve in my X, at a cost of only $7.50 for every 12 ounces. That is very cheap, my A/C cools excellent. Also if you have a 92 and want a few extra degrees cooler, by a heater core control valve (from factory for the newer models 95 and up X) then just run a vacuum line T off the max a/c door to that water flow control valve outside the car so that when max a/c is on a hot water is kept out of the heater core. This is done for some customers here at my dealer when they complain its still not cold enough and the system is working properly. I have done it to mine, it cools and extra 4 to 6 degrees. Which is quite a difference.
