What weight/type motor oil do you normally run in your 5.0?
I started a thread to get an idea of if it was ok to use the lighter weight motor oils in our 5.0's. The responses got me to thinking that it may be informative to others if we had a pole here to see what the balances are of what weight people are running.
Here is my other thread: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=390753
After you select a weight, add a comment to the thread to let us know:
- Miles on your motor
- Is the oil synthetic, blend or conventional
- Brand of oil if you are so inclined
- What region you live in (does it really cold or really hot where you live).
- Any other pertinent information you feel compelled to share.
Please, refrain from extensive debates about who is right and who is wrong in this thread. This thread is just about who is running what. If you want to debate this stuff, go over to the other thread I linked to. Opinions are welcome there.
Happy trails,
Dan
