What weight oil are you running; how many miles do you have on your X?

Motorcraft 10W-30, changed every 5000 miles. I've got about 230,000 miles on it and it has yet to start burning oil.

Mobil 1 5w30 w/ 102,000...

another question for the dumb... should I change my oil according to the sticker on the windshield, every 5k or according to the center console "Oil Life Left" meter??

And to some of you... don't you think its a little overkill to change your oil with Mobil 1 every 2,500 miles?

I sure do; I just hit 20k using Amsoil 0w300. with filter changes at every 5k.

Gonna change at 25k and use 5w20. Will, of course do another oil analysis.

castrol synth 5w30 every 5k.. motorcraft filter.
going to mobil 1 next change. 65k miles.
