just make sure you do a little figuring on a set of wheels if you are going to buy them. I made fairly general statements based on the experience I have had. There are alot of parts out there and some of them might be different than what i have seen.
I seem to remember hearing 3rd gen rims come with 2 different offsets. one is like 19mm and the other i think is 44mm. obviously there is a big difference there. it is always best to know what you have now and what is different about the wheels you are thiking about purchasing.
the wheels i have (off a 3rd gen 4-dr explorer) sit about 1/2" closer in (naked eye guess) than the stock ones i had. I am comfortable with the setup and have been running it for awhile w/o any trouble
