whatcha think of this grille?

Hey guys,
Recently I've gotten real interested in billet grilles for some reason, perhaps for the extra flare they add. But anyways, if I do decide to get one, it'll most like be one of these:

Here's the one I like the most:

Number Two:

Tied for Second, also:

As I said before.. the designlight (billet with rectangular fog light insets come with pre-installed lights, not sure what brand.) is the one I like the most. Both of those other billets look very nice too.. I might like that 3rd one a bit better though.

But anyways, lemme know what you guys think.

I love mine

When I originally bought it, three years ago, I thought about the one with the light cut-outs, but wasn't sure. The guy at the shop said that the full grill would be easy to modify if I wanted to down the road. As you can see, I opted for other lighting options. Check out this pic taken by Peter Weber, it shows the grill pretty well:

Very nice looking rig, BlueDog. The billet adds a real tough-looking touch, also. Yeah, the thought that the grille could be easily modifiable ran through my head. Perhaps cut some holes and make some mounts for some PIAA 520s or 40XTs? Now this is turning into a lighting situation.. But thanks for the pic!

the first and third arent billet but square tubing. i have the first one with the lights on my truck that i got last week. it took 10 minutes to put it on. the lights fyi are eagle eye if this helps. they are bright but not up to par with my 9004 piaa's so time for new upgrade hehehe

Hmm, I would say either selection two or selection three, both look nice, unfortunately I don't have an Explorer with a grill like that, so my opinion shouldn't really matter!

i'd definitely go with number two. i think it is just a bit more sedate. of course, i'm just a vanilla kind of guy.
