1997 Mecury Mountaineer
Just wanted to say hello to everyone here on the forum! My name is Adam and I purchased my burgandy red 1997 Mercury Mountaineer this past August. It has the 5.0 aswell. I figerglassed a lot of the interior parts and sprayed them chameleon black with high gloss clear coat finish. Also widened the rear bumper/fender area after removing all the rust.. I refinished the wheels in metallic gold also. Hmm what else.. Oh yeah installed a full mustang cobra 3" exhaust with carbon fiber dual tip. Fiberglass the front grill since it was in two pieces when I got it and hvlp sprayed that metallic gold too. New taillights and ect, ect. Ill post some pics soon, but just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you've done quite a bit. Best of luck with your rig.

I work on the truck whenever I have time bro! I so glad I found a site like this for the Mountaineer! I am a member of jbody.org and aveoclub.net from the way back lol. I no longer own those vehicles so the this site is a perfect fit for my current project!

Seen your rig. Nice. I'm trying to bring mine back to her former glory while dealing with time and budget constraints but she'll get there!

Hey thanks man! Just wondering why I need to do to attach my signiture properly! I hosted it, but for some reason it appears as a link? Any advice?

I think if you click on the user cp next to the home tab, you can scroll down and edit your signature. I forgot how but I think that is it.

Yeah I did that and pasted the address between the [ img ] signiture [ / img ] but all that appears is the link you clicked on.. Very wierd..

I reduced the file size so hopefully this helps test

Thanks man! I am very happy to be apart of it!

Good luck with your project Castle! I know exactly what you mean about budget constraints lol

Welcome Adam!

I don't think the forum allows sig pics... Text only.
