The truck you're looking at is tough, but it consumes a lot of gas, and takes up a lot of space (something to consider when living in a big city with limited parking) since it's very big. I'm sure that it will last a long time. Why would you get rid of the Aerostar if it's reliable, and runs great? Since it's a 1996 model, you might get $1,000 - $1,500 for it.

i want a tow truck because i have a 24 foot camper and its bit much for my F150 and this F35o is a beast and its got the 7.3 non turbo motor for only 4,000 bucks with only 150,000 miles with dana 60s front and back. The Aerostar is really not my kind of car i like full side vans and trucks. The van runs great i did all of the maintenance it needed plus more but i just bought it because it was cheap low miles and iv known it my whole life and with such low miles i thought it would be worth way more and its in stuck great shape but my be ill do something else with it if its only worth 1500 bucks i got that into it now

There's been a '97 ext Aerostar on the St Louis Craig's list for several months - a dealer is asking $1995 for it and it has some rust. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ctd/4174805188.html

Trying to find the right buyer sometimes takes awhile. If you can get anywhere near what you've got in it and move on, I'd say take it. Their value is in the use of the vehicle. The rest of the world hasn't figured out how useful they are. I tried trading mine in back during the cash for clunkers - now I've got 3 of them. The replacement I traded for just wasn't as useful - but the heater works better and I'll be using it this weekend after the next winter blast arrives.

On edit: WOW! After seeing the dealer repost the listing for '97 everyday for the past at least 4 or 5 months, the day after I put the link in this post, it's gone. Did one of you guys buy it?

maybe it does not sound like it worth my time to sell it maybe ill just give to my family unless i can make some money or put it up for trade because i don't need it i thought i could get at least 2,000 grand

condition, condition, condition.
