turned the lights on to see if it would? sure its not the light for the drive letters?

no, there all there attached to the selector plate ,thats what i first thought but it was just hanging there,
its got a slot on the plug with 4 wires two on each side odd,
looks like it should mount on something

it's the light that goes under the shifter and lights up the drive letters, it clips into the metal framework and is really flimsy

cheers guys, ill have another look see if i can remove the blub ,
its obviously blown ,strange tho, im sure there were others there to light the letters under the shifter maybee im wrong
