Hayden makes both tube & fin and plate & fin designs. I have their plate & fin (the better of the two) design and it works great for me.

When getting a cooler, always spend the extra for a stacked plate model. Its money well spent.

are you using these in place of stock cooler or in addition to it. if it is used with stock cooler where is everyone installing auxiliary cooler?

In addition to stock cooler.

thanks al, I appriecate that. I need to do trans flush and replace internal filter, but would like to put auxiliary cooler and filter when I do it. but i'm not exactly sure where to mount them. not even sure what brand and where to buy.

I hung mine off the support in front of the rad near the bottom of the bumper so I still get good air flow through to the rad and get good air flow to the cooler. I Had it mounted flush against the rad and wasn't getting any air flow.
